Insulating Wafers

For most applications, insulating wafers must be placed on both sides of the module. We also recommend the use of heat transfer paste (i.e. thermal grease) to attach the wafers to the module. Generally, two (2) insulators are required per module.

Thermal Grease

Hi-Z's Thermal Grease has higher thermal conductivity and is considered to be of a higher quality because it is specially manufactured to operate with our modules. Benefits include high performance levels during long periods of time, the ability to withstand higher temperatures (hot side up to 250°C), and lower vaporization potential. Please note that no commercial grease can withstand long term exposure at these high temperatures.
